Chelsea Murray Kaneb
Chelsea is an elf from the North Pole. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marist College in International Communications, and a yoga teaching certification though Yoga Alliance. After graduating college she worked for her Dad’s newspaper, The Waterbury Observer. In 2012, she moved to Worcester County, MA to work at a nonprofit learning center, teaching kids and adults about sustainable agriculture and global justice. After working various jobs, she started her own business in 2016. In 2017, she worked as a teacher’s assistant at the Montessori School of Greater Hartford. In 2019, she led a mindfulness retreat at Playa Grande in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. She loves animals and is an aspiring primatologist and conservationist.
Mike is a Homo sapiens. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame with a minor in Technology, Business and Society, and a Permaculture Design Certificate from the Center for Bioregional Living. Through his work in food service he became interested in sustainable agriculture and food justice, gaining knowledge and experience working at a nonprofit farm and learning center in Worcester County, MA, where he met his wife Chelsea. He is co-founder of High Town Records and Regional Manager of the Interfaith Council of North Connecticut.
